How do I access my CVC course on Canvas?

Once you register for a course through California Virtual Campus, please wait between 24-48 hours to be enrolled in Canvas. For most students, you can access your course(s) through your regular “home campus” Canvas instance without needing to log into your “teaching campus’s” learning management system.
- If you attend a college other than College of the Redwoods and are taking classes at College of the Redwoods, CR is your "Teaching Campus" and the other college is your "Home Campus".
To confirm your enrollment on Canvas, log into Canvas > click on courses in the global menu > click on all courses and all your enrolled courses (published and unpublished) would be found here.
If you are taking courses at College of the Redwoods through CVC and attend a different community college, you would have received “MyCR” credentials, allowing you to log in directly to College of the Redwood’s single sign-on portal and Canvas.
- This credential is usually not needed. If you need to access files on CR’s Microsoft OneDrive, you will be required to login directly into CR’s MyCR Portal/Canvas instance.
