Why can’t I find my Class on my Canvas?

There can be several reasons that you may not find your class, this includes:

New student to College of the Redwoods: Once you register for a class, it takes at least 24 hours to update your enrollment in our registration system and to show up in Canvas. Please wait 24 hours ( 1 business day) to see if your course appears. Weekends and holidays may delay this process. Please wait at least 48 hours before submitting a help ticket.
- If you have never registered for a class before with College of the Redwoods, you do not have access to Canvas.
You are trying to view a course that is not published yet: Courses open and “appear” on your Canvas dashboard the first day of the semester. If the semester hasn’t started yet, you may not see your class yet until the semester starts or when your course is “published”.
Still have concerns? You can contact your instructor by email if you have questions about when your Canvas course will open or check in with Admissions and Records to confirm your enrollment. Don't see your class on your main dashboard? This may be because its not published yet. Let's check!

Login to your Canvas account through https://myapps.microsoft.com (Your Single Sign-On login at Redwoods.edu)
Click on "Courses", which is found on the gray "Global Menu" to the left.
Click on"All Courses"
Here you will see all courses you have previously taken, are currently enrolled in and those that are future courses. This page will also include if the course is published or not published.

Unpublished courses will show in black text without the blue hyperlink title, meaning that it is hidden and you can't view. If you have questions regarding your course, please contact your instructor directly through your student email account.
