You can access Canvas through logging into your MyCR Portal! This is done on our website: www.Redwoods.edu and by clicking on “MyCR” at the top of the page. Once you are logged in, click on the “Canvas” app. You can also access Canvas with your credentials here: My Apps
You will need to know your @MyCR.Redwoods.edu student email address and password. If you aren't sure what that is, please check your welcome email sent by College of the Redwoods when you enrolled. If you changed your password and are unable to find it, you can reset your password by submitting a ticket to IT. You can submit a ticket here: CR Help Desk
You can also access your Canvas through the Canvas App! Download the app on your smartphone or device through the app store/play store. You will be required to login and authenticate.
Are you a new student with CR?
If you just registered as a student with College of the Redwoods, you need to be enrolled in a course to get access to Canvas.
Did you just register for a course at College of the Redwoods?
Once you register for a course at the college, your enrollment will take up to 2 business days to appear and provide you access.
Are you a returning student?
If you are a returning student to College of the Redwoods and haven't taken classes for more than 12 months, please reapply to College of the Redwoods.
Why can't I access Canvas?
Only registered students with College of the Redwoods who are actively enrolled or previously enrolled have access to Canvas. Students that have never enrolled in a course with College of the Redwoods do not have access to Canvas.
